नयाँ नायिका उपमा पनि हिँडिछ उपमा उसको नाउँ थियो तर, यस शब्दले उसको आकारप्रकार ल्यायो आँखासहित अनुहार ल्यायो नत्र यसको कुनै मानमहिमा हुँदैनथ्यो मानौँ सुने न जानेको कोही परदेशी शब्द जसको कुनै नागरिकता छैन र कुनै माइती-मावली छैन गोठ छैन, हवेली छैनन् सहचर छैन, सहेली छैनन् । किन्तु उसको नाउँ अहिले सशरीर ऊ बनी उभिन आयो जो भर्खरै चियाउन पो लागेकी थिई र मुस्कुराएर पनि भागेकी थिई ऊ अवश्य नै त्यति छिप्पिएकी थिइन है तर, हिजो ऊ कसैसँग उडिछ सायद भित्रभित्रै बढिछ । |

फाल्गुन सात त्यस दिन कारागार खुलेथ्यो, त्यस दिन कैदी बाहिर आए नेपाल अझै ठुलो लाग्यो, आकाश अझै अग्लो पाए । दीनहरूले यै दिन ठाने- 'अब है हाम्रा सब दु:ख गए’, उल्लासहरू हे नेपाली । हामीलाई उपलब्ध भए । यो दिन मनको मातृस्थल हो, यो दिन यौटा सुनको खानी, मानिस धायो पाउन यसमा मनसित मिल्दो हावा-पानी । यस दिनको युग बाँड्न सकेमा, बाँड्न सकेमा यस दिनलाई सबको साझा धन बाँडिन्थ्यो, प्रग्थ्यो सवका लागि भलाइ । तैपनि आफ्नो घरका मा सबले आफ्ना घरमा पाए, दुइ गीत यसो गाई हेर्दा दु:खै आफ्नो स्वरमा पाए । अहिले पनि यो पीडा बाँकी- कसरी लाग्लान् भोलि किनारा यी दु:खहरू, यी पीरहरू, यी घर-घरका मर्का सारा ! ज्यू थाकेको, मन रोएको जनता मेरो स्मृतिमा जाग्छ, आज तिनैको मुख हेर्ने मन, आज तिनैको माया लाग्छ । आँसु बगेको दाग छ होला आजै कतिका गालामाथि, कतिका आँखा रोई-रोई जाग्राम बसे आजै राती । देख्छु म तिनको त्यो हाल जसै , मुटुमा आफै पर्दछ गाँठो, तिनको स्मृतिमा चुपचाप रुंदै टोल्हाएको हुन्छ म लाटो । आज तिनैको मुख हेर्ने मन, आज तिनैको विरह-विषाद, आज त मनले खोज्दछ खालि नित आइरहोस् तिनकै याद । आज त सबले अनुमति देऊ- हर मानिस होस महिमा-पात्र यो दिन न्याय र समताको हो, दिव्य नहोऊं हामी मात्र कति द:ख अझै मानिसलाई ! किन दु:खैमा यिनले मर्नु कति दिन हाम्रो न्याय अधूरो ! अब सम्पूर्णै न्याय छ गर्नु । |
