    चंगा चुडिएजस्तै 
    भएर पनि नभएजस्तै 
    यतै भएर पनि उतै कतै भएजस्तै ।
    कता कता 
    समुन्द्रमा बिलाएजस्तै 
    कहाँ कहाँ, कता कता 
    परदेशमा भएर पनि 
    म त्यहीँ वरपर त्यतै 
    गाउँको मझेरीमा भएजस्तै ।

    मान्छे मान्छेको भिडभित्र 
    मेरा मित्रहरु 
    प्रकाश, हरिमान र तुलसीका अनुहारहरु
    गीत संगीतको झंकारभित्र 
    नारायण गोपाल, अम्बर गुरुङ र दीपका आवाजहरु 
    थुप्रिएका हिउँका पहाडहरुभित्र 
    तीनजुरे र फुलचोकी डाँडाका यादहरु 
    सहर भित्रका बजार र मल हरुभित्र 
    ठमेल र झोंछेका गल्लीहरु ।

    कस्तरी परदेशमा यादहरुलाई 
    बिगतका यादहरुले 
    पत्रै पत्रै बनेर थिचेर राखेका छन् 
    सफा संगमर्मरको
    शिलालेखमा कुंदिएझैं 
    बर्षौं बर्ष पनि पारदर्शीझैं बनेर  
    यादहरु कस्तरी नामेट बनेर 
    बिर्सनै नसकिने भएर बसेछ ।

    मेरो गाउँ, बजार, शहर र मान्छे 
    मेरो आँखामा 
    यहाँ परदेशमा !!!
