Haiku Collection Of Ramesh Prabhat

Ramesh Prabhat, whose real name is Rameshkumar Shrestha, was born on Ashadh 6, 2029 B.S. (around mid-1972 A.D.) in Purkot village of Tanahun District. Although his ancestral roots lie in Tanahun, he is a permanent resident of Mangalpur–15, Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Chitwan.

Teaching & Literary Journey

By profession, Prabhat serves as an Assistant Professor in the Nepali Department at Birendra Multiple Campus, Bharatpur, affiliated with Tribhuvan University. Prior to that, he earned academic degrees including M.A., M.Ed., and M.Phil. in Nepali.

His literary career began around 2044 B.S. (1987–1988 A.D.), with his first published poem "शहीदको पत्र" ("Letter of a Martyr") appearing in Matribhumi Weekly on roughly 1 January 1991.
