    He received many awards for his contributions to Nepali music and writings, comprising the Chinnalata Puraskar in 2043 BS, the Nepal Rastriya Prativa Puraskar in 2056 BS, and the Prabal Gorkha Dakshin Bahu 4th class in 2027 BS.
